UPDATE ON BECCY JOSE

Everyone who loves gymnastics will by now be aware that 4 times British Champion and Commonwealth Gold medallist, Rebbecca Jose has retired from the sport she has made her own and won a coveted place in the fantastic, world renowned show Cirque du Soleil. Beccy, who has helped Esprit become the force it is today by training, inspiring and being a friend to Esprit and its gymnasts, is currently in Canada training to become part of this incredible circus based show, she will be appearing throughout Canada and America in 2005 before touring the world, appearing in venue’s as prestigious as the Sydney Opera House and the Royal Albert Hall.

We at Esprit would all like to say – Good Luck Beccy, we’ll all miss you, you deserve this opportunity and Rhythmic Gymnastics in the UK would not be where it is today without you. Cirque du Soleil is the better for having a gymnast of your quality, we’ll be sure to come and see you as soon as we can.
