The
gymnasts from Esprit Academy of Gymnastics & Trampoline
based in Stratton St Margaret, Swindon have been chosen
to represent one of the largest Project Management consultancies
in the Country. Davis Langdon LLP from High Holborn in London
have many claims to fame, not least being the fact that
they were one of the reasons the famous Eden Project in
Cornwall became a reality. To celebrate their success they
have produced a book detailing what makes them one of the
most respected project management consultancies in the world.
Their
brief to the Swindon based Marketing and Design agency,
the mhd partnership, was to produce a book that explained
the Davis Langdon philosophy through a series of pictorial
images that reflected skill, dedication, perseverance and
flexibility. MHD rose to the challenge and produced a creative
work that has already been nominated for a design award,
using the gymnasts and trampoline students at Esprit in
several of the books images.
“The
Schools Academy programme, just one of Davis Langdon’s
key projects, is an area where there is a perfect synergy
with Esprit” said mhd’s Creative Director Roland
Scull. The brief was to show how building a new school is
an educational vision to change the way children learn,
nurture their developing potential and crystallise their
aspirations, which is exactly what the Esprit Academy is
designed to do.”
The
book is called ‘learning to ride a unicycle while
juggling with live cats’ and it is now set to be adapted
for the World Wide Web, which will then ensure Swindon’s
gymnastic stars will be viewed throughout the rest of the
world, and be associated with one of London’s top
companies.
