Update from July 2006
The
17 & 18 June saw over 300 of Esprit's gymnasts fighting
it out for the honour of being one of the clubs champions
at the annual club competition!
As
it turned out every competitor took the opportunity to
show their parents and well-wishers just how much they
have learn't since the last competition, showing off some
very impressive skills. The weather turned out fine, the
barbecue did a roaring trade and everyone was privileged
to see some fabulous gymnastics and trampoline, from some
very talented young people, they were a credit to themselves
and should be very proud of their achievements. On top
of all that the fundraising committee raised over £800
for club funds.

some unclaimed prizes.
Moving
on the club is getting more and more recognition throughout
the country and several of the club's gymnasts are now
competing at the very highest level. Check out our recent
news story's for details of their
outstanding achievements.
One
of the very best bits of news is that of Jade Faulkner,
the Esprit rhythmic gymnast has just recently been presented
with her official 'Great Britain' track suit! She is off
soon to Bulgaria on a GB training camp that will see her
mixing with some of the worlds very best rhythmic gymnasts
- have great trip Jade!
